The yurt meadow is in a secluded corner of the farm surrounded by woods and pasture. Leave your car behind and wander over to find your yurt in a quiet sheltered space with blackcurrant bushes and crab apple trees.
You share the meadow with a family of badgers, red kites, long-tailed tits, bullfinches and an amazing variety of wild flowers and grasses. Collect eggs laid fresh by the hens that cluck around the meadow.
In a corner of the meadow we have built a cosy wooden social cabin. The cabin has solar heated showers at one end, and a social cooking space with a wood burning stove and comfy seats at the other. There is a sheltered area where you can sit outside with a cup of tea and read the paper while your children build sand castles, make dens and swing in the trees. .
There are composting toilets with a reed bed drainage system in a green oak hut opposite the showers. We don't have electricity on site but we have a charging point.
