We, Laurie and Thea, were fortunate to grow up on dairy farms on opposite sides of the Aeron Valley. We grew up building dens, cooking on open fires, catching grasshoppers, helping with the hay, collecting eggs, making dams in streams and tickling tadpoles.

 

Creating The Yurt Farm is a way of sharing our enjoyment of the farm and countryside with others, while bringing a new burst of vitality to it. We want to bring up our young family in the warmth of rural Wales and our yurts offer us a viable way of doing so.

 

We run The Yurt Farm with simplicity and fun and are being as environmentally sensitive as possible. We also want to give something back to our kind and welcoming community. Everything is sourced locally where possible and we are giving a percentage of any profit to our local school.
